Whitney Rose Pynn Biography

Whitney Rose Pynn spent her formative years in the New York village of Sayville. Whitney is the middle of three sisters, Vanessa (more experienced), Taylor, and Whitney Pynn. Her parents are sign designer Ray Pynn and registered nurse Lydia Pynn (more youthful). She devoted most of her immaturity to becoming a skilled ballet performer. Whitney spent several years studying at The School of American Ballet, starting when she was 10 years old. She performed in Le Corsaire and Mozartiana with American Ballet Theater as well as The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Coppelia, and Harlequinade with New York City Ballet when she was a student at SAB. Whitney realized she had to pursue acting as a career after she left the School of American Ballet at age 16 and started attending acting workshops. She continued her education at The University of Maryland, where she double majored in theatre and psychology. This gave her the opportunity to play a variety of characters, including Lady Caroline Bramble in Enchanted April and the Little Jesus in Martin McDonagh's The Pillowman. Whitney relocated to Los Angeles right after graduation and has since worked hard to get into the media. In 2013's award-winning 21 Days, starring Kathleen Behun, Whitney played Shauna Roberts in her first driving role in a supporting role. Whitney has joined the cast of the eagerly anticipated NBC series Aquarius, in which she will portray an important member of the Manson family. Whitney will also appear in two scenes of TNT's popular thriller Murder In The First.
