Wally Lamb is the author of the New York Times and national blockbuster hit The Hour I First Believed, as well as the books She's Come Undone and I Know This Much Is True, both of which were #1 New York Times bestsellers and Oprah Book Club picks. Wishin' and Hopin': A Christmas Story is his most recent book. Lamb has a bachelor's and master's degree in education from the University of Connecticut, as well as a master's degree in fine arts from Vermont College.
