Vicki Hollub Biography

In April 2016, Vicki Hollub was appointed president and chief executive officer of Occidental Petroleum Corporation. Since 2015, she has been a member of the Occidental Board of Directors. Hollub joined Occidental more than 30 years ago and has worked in a variety of executive and specialist roles with responsibilities across three landmasses, including the US, Russia, Venezuela, and Ecuador. She most recently served as Occidental's President and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the company's midstream and oil and gas activities. While serving as President of Oxy Oil and Gas and Senior Executive Vice President of Occidental Petroleum Corporation, Hollub was responsible for operations in Latin America, the Middle East, and the United States. Prior to that, she held a variety of initiative positions, including those of Executive Vice President of Occidental and President of Oxy Oil and Gas Americas, Vice President of Occidental and Executive Vice President of Oxy Oil and Gas Activities in the United States, Executive Vice President of California Operations, and President and General Manager of the company's Permian Basin Tasks. Hollub started her career with Cities Service, which Occidental acquired. Hollub has positions on the boards of the American Petroleum Institute, Lockheed Martin, and Khalifa University for Science and Technology in Abu Dhabi. She serves as the American representative on the U.S.-Colombia Business Council. Hollub graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in mineral engineering. She was admitted to the 2016 class of Distinguished Engineering Fellows at the University of Alabama College of Engineering.
