Metcalf completed 13 years in active service in the Marine Corps and is a Persian Gulf War veteran prior to joining Honor Courage Commitment, Inc. Urshel spent nine years as a local pastor and missionary serving the military community after he was discharged from the Marine Corps' active duty. Metcalf increased his capacity for inspiring, guiding, and mentoring individuals all across the world by working with local churches in Mexico, Brazil, and Italy. As a speaker and singer, Metcalf's drive to be a voice for good change is focused on helping people and organizations progress from "good to great" so they may keep growing. Urshel began working in financial services selling insurance after moving back to Dallas in 2009.
