From April 1, 2017, till February 1, 2018, Ulf Ewaldsson served as T-Mobile US Inc.'s Senior Vice President of Technology Transformation. From September 2016 to April 1, 2017, Ewaldsson was the Chief Strategy & Technology Officer and Head of Group Function Strategy & Technology at Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson. From February 1, 2012, to September 19, 2016, Ewaldsson was the Chief Technology Officer and Head of Group Function Technology at Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson. Ewaldsson has more than 20 years of expertise in customer interactions, business growth, and product management. Since 1990, he has held a number of managerial positions in the Ericsson Group. He has almost 11 years of experience working abroad (in China, Japan, and Eastern Europe). From January 2007 until February 2012, he oversaw the radio product area at Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson (Ericsson's Business Unit Networks). He had a key role in developing some of the devices that demonstrate Ericsson's technological superiority, including the multi-standard RBS 6000, the antenna-integrated radio unit, and HSPA and LTE in the radio-access network. At Ericsson, he was a vice president. At Vihaan Networks Limited, he held the position of Head of the Radio Division. He is the board's chairman for research at Ericsson.
