Tyler Glenn Biography

Tyler Glenn attended Chaparral High School in Temecula, California, when he was a teenager. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is where he belongs. He conducted a Mormon mission in Nebraska following high school. After Glenn's father suggested he perform music with guitarist Chris Allen, the son of one of Glenn's father's acquaintances, in Southern California in 2004, Neon Trees was born. With the addition of bassist Branden Campbell and drummer/backing vocalist Elaine Doty (who is now Elaine Bradley) and bassist Branden Campbell, they officially created Neon Trees in Provo, Utah, in 2005. The group gained popularity in the Provo and Salt Lake City music scenes. Neon Trees played a tiny venue in Las Vegas in 2007, and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. (drummer for The Killers), who knew Campbell from a former band, was pleased. As a result, The Killers asked the group to open for them in 2008 while on their North American tour. In 2010, Neon Trees issued Habits, their debut studio album. Glenn co-wrote a song for the album called Animal, and it became a success. Everybody Talks, another song from their 2011 album Picture Show that Glenn co-wrote, also reached the top 10 in 2012.
