Tulsi Gabbard, a politician from the United States and a major in the Hawaii Army National Guard, previously held the position of U.S. Representative representing Hawaii's 2nd congressional district. She has supported pro-LGBT rights legislation as a member of the LGBT Equality caucus in Congress since 2013. Gabbard has referred to herself as a "hawk" on terrorism and opposes military interventionism.
