Tucker Carlson is best known as the former host of Tucker Carlson Tonight on FOX News Channel (FNC), which aired weeknights at 8 PM ET. He began contributing to the network in 2009. Carlson tackles political correctness and media prejudice while tackling subjects that have largely gone unreported. Prior to the debut of his primetime show, Carlson co-hosted FOX & Friends Weekend, which aired on weekends from 6 to 10 AM ET. On the nights of the primaries and caucuses for the 2016 and 2012 presidential elections as well as the 2014 midterm elections, he also offered commentary for America's Election Headquarters. Additionally, in 2010, he created the FNC program "Fighting for Our Children's Minds." Carlson hosted Tucker on MSNBC from 2005 to 2008 and PBS' Tucker Carlson: Unfiltered before joining FNC. As the network's youngest anchor ever, he joined CNN in 2000 and co-hosted The Spin Room before moving on to co-host CNN's Crossfire until its demise in 2005. Politicians, Partisans, and Parasites: My Adventures in Cable News is the title of an autobiography he published in 2003 about his time working in cable news. Additionally, in 2010, Carlson started and served as editor-in-chief of the political news website The Daily Caller. Carlson earned a history B.A. from Trinity College.
