The $200,000 Grawemeyer Award for Ideas Improving World Order was given to Trita Parsi in 2010. Treacherous Alliance: The Secret Dealings of Israel, Iran, and the US (Yale University Press, 2007) and A Single Roll of the Dice: Obama's Diplomacy with Iran are two of his works that have won awards (Yale University Press, 2012). In 2008, Treacherous Alliance earned the Grawemeyer Award and the Arthur Ross Award from the Council on Foreign Relations (Silver medallion). Foreign Affairs named A Single Roll of the Dice as The Best Book in the Middle East in 2012. Dr. Parsi has taught at Johns Hopkins University and George Washington University and is the president of the National Iranian American Council, the biggest grassroots organization of Iranian Americans in the US. He is presently an instructor at Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service in Washington, DC.
