Tramel Tillman Biography

Tramell Tillman is an American actor, hailing from Washington, D.C., and raised in Largo, Maryland, as the youngest of six siblings in a Baptist family. Initially a pre-med student at Xavier University of Louisiana, he switched to communications at Jackson State University after Hurricane Katrina. He later earned an MFA in Acting from the University of Tennessee, becoming the first African American male graduate of the program. Known for his role as Seth Milchick in Apple TV+'s Severance (2022–present), he earned a 2025 Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor. His performance as the unsettling corporate manager drew on his decade of experience in nonprofit work. Tillman's other credits include “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning” (2025), “Dietland” (2018), and theater roles in “Carmen Jones” (AUDELCO Award). He is a staunch advocate for the arts, LGBTQ+ rights, and mental health awareness.
