Toosii is the stage name of Nau’Jour Lazier Grainger who stands as an American rapper and singer and songwriter who unites hip-hop with trap and alternative R&B through authentic lyrics. Toosii began his music career in Syracuse New York before moving to Raleigh North Carolina at age 13 to pursue his musical interests during high school while playing football and dealing with personal challenges.
Toosii started sharing his music through SoundCloud and mixtape platforms during 2016 when he released Blessings and Who Dat and his breakthrough mixtape Platinum Heart in 2020. The platinum-certified single “Love Cycle” featuring Summer Walker reached gold status on his debut album Poetic Pain which reached No. 17 on the Billboard 200 while his debut mixtape Blessings and Who Dat and the platinum-selling mixtape Platinum Heart reached No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.
