Tone Bell, who was really born Michael Anthony Bell II in Decatur, Georgia, started out in comedy clubs in Dallas before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in comedy and acting. A few times after his relocation, Tone won the Stand-up NBC Diversity talent competition and agreed to work with the network on development. Mark-Paul Gosselaar plays Tone's neighbor and best friend in the upcoming NBS comedy "People are Talking," in which Tone also has a starring role. Following his performances on TV shows including E"Chelsea !'s Lately," Comedy Central's "Key and Peele," and GSN's "Mind of a Man," Tone hosted MTV's hidden camera program "Jerks with Cameras" after his turn as RJ the bartender in the NBC comedy "Whitney." Tone most recently appeared in the NBC sitcom "Bad Judge" as Tedward the Bailiff. Tone has made guest and performer appearances on talk shows like NBC's "Last Call with Carson Daly" and CBS' "Late Night Show with Craig Ferguson." Tone is a writer as well, and he recently sold FX a comedic script. Tone has been a mainstay in the stand-up scene and still performs around the nation.
