Tom Thelen Biography

The No Bullying Schools Program was started by Tom Thelen. He has delivered speeches at more than 700 schools, universities, and youth groups as one of America's best young motivational speakers. His message demonstrates to students how to BE THE CHANGE on your campus and aids in the development of healthy school cultures. Tom has been on NBS, CBS, PBS, FOX, The National Association of Student Councils, The National Honor Society, and student conferences for 4-H, FFA, FCCLA, and YMCA. He has also been interviewed by NBS, CBS, PBS, and FOX. After earning his bachelor's degree in 2005, Tom started working for a nonprofit youth organization where he developed his youth speaking abilities and started penning his debut book, TEEN LEADERSHIP REVOLUTION. Since the release of his second book, VICTIMPROOF, he has assumed a prominent position in the fight against bullying and the improvement of school environments. Students are taken on a trip through Tom's own life narrative as part of his anti-bullying school assembly program. Tom was a typical "face in the crowd" child who never suffered from drugs or alcohol but instead lived with a victim mentality. Thank goodness, one of the teachers intervened and assisted him in breaking the bullying loop. Tom now travels the country educating kids on how to confront bullying and "BE THE CHANGE" in their school.
