Todd Glass Biography

Todd Glass grew up in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, suburbs. While a student at Conestoga High School in Philadelphia in 1982, he started doing stand-up comedy. He first appeared on television in the late 1980s on An Evening at the Improv on A&E, and then again in the early 1990s on a number of Comedy Central stand-up shows. Glass has performed often on shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live! and is arguably most recognized for his roles as a contestant on the second and third seasons of NBC's Last Comic Standing. In 2001, Mr. Show included Steve, Bob, and David Preston, and had its own Comedy Central Presents special. Together with Jimmy Dore and Stefané Zamorano, two other comedians, he co-hosted the Comedy And Everything Else podcast, which he quit in September 2009. The show from November 28th, 2009 featured an official announcement of his leaving. But ever since he left, he has made multiple cameo appearances in episodes. In addition to appearing on the two CD set of the Comedy Death-Ray, a compilation album of different stand-up comics performing at the well-known Comedy Death-Ray comedy showcase at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Los Angeles, Glass also released his debut stand-up album in 2001, titled Vintage Todd Glass and Other Crap. On July 7, 2009, Comedy Central Records published his most recent album, Thin Pig.
