Timotheus Hoettges Biography

Since January 2014, Timotheus Höttges, a 1962-born man, has served as CEO of Deutsche Telekom AG. He holds a degree in business administration from the University of Cologne and attended the Stanford Graduate School of Business. As Managing Director of Finance and Controlling on the Board of T-Mobile Deutschland, he joined Deutsche Telekom in 2000. He was named a member of the group board of management in 2006 and given responsibility for the German fixed-line company T-Home. And he joined Deutsche Telekom in 2009 as Chief Financial Officer. As Chairman of the Board of T-Mobile US and a Member of the Supervisory Board for the renowned German soccer team FC Bayern München, he also serves in such capacities. He is a co-founder and trustee on the board of the "Bürgerstiftung Rheinviertel," which actively promotes social integration in the area where he resides.
