American fashion consultant, actor, voice actor, author, and television personality Tim Gunn. He worked as a professor at Parsons The New School for Design from 1982 to 2007, and from August 2000 to March 2007, he served as the department's chair of fashion design. In March 2007, he joined Liz Claiborne as its chief creative officer. Gunn has established a solid reputation as the Project Runway designers' on-air mentor over the course of 16 seasons. Due to Gunn's success on Project Runway, two spin-off series, Tim Gunn's Guide to Style on Bravo and Under the Gunn on Lifetime, as well as five books, have been produced. Gunn has mentored Project Runway: Junior's young designers in addition to serving as executive producer. Additionally, he voiced the sitcom Mixology and performs the voice of Baileywick, the palace steward in the Disney Junior television series Sofia the First.
