Thomas Middleditch is a Canadian actor, comedian, and television writer best known for his leading performances as Richard Hendricks in the HBO series Silicon Valley and Justin Frost in the 2009 romantic comedy Splinterheads. He studied at the University of Victoria on British Columbia's Vancouver Island. He played Justin Frost, the main character, in the 2009 romantic comedy Splinterheads. On March 25, 2010, he signed on for the Josh Schwartz and Rob Greenberg-penned CBS pilot Hitched. Middleditch made his Jake and Amir debut on May 5, 2011, in the episode Jake and Amir: Doobs. On November 17, 2011, Jake and Amir: Doobs Part 2 premiered. On November 20, 2012, Jake and Amir: Doobs Part 3 debuted. On March 5, 2013, Jake and Amir: Movie Date premiered. On March 12, 2013, Jake and Amir: Movie Date Part 2 debuted. Middleditch joined the cast of Josh Schwartz's comedic picture Fun Size at Paramount Pictures on May 31, 2011. On August 8, 2011, he started working on Road to Nardo, a movie that was supposed to mark Scot Armstrong's feature film debut. He joined Jay Roach's The Campaign, starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis, on December 12th, 2011. He offered MTV a cartoon titled Worst Friends Forever in the fall of the same year, but it was never broadcast.
