Vice President of Investor Growth at Morgan Stanley Investment Management is Thomas Kamei. Kamei served as an intern with Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Bodri Capital Management. He joined Morgan Stanley's Growth division as an investor in 2010. For institutional customers, the Growth Team administers international long-only funds. In his position, he assessed public and private enterprises in the technology and Internet sectors as prospective investments for the portfolios by examining public and private companies throughout the market capitalization range. Thomas conducted research on privately held Internet firms before joining Morgan Stanley in Silicon Valley for Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
