The Lost Trailers Biography

American country music group, The Lost Trailers, performs songs. The band was formed in 2000 with Ryder Lee on lead vocals and keyboards, Manny Medina on guitar, Andrew Nielson on bass guitar, Stokes Nielson on vocals and lead guitar, and Jeff Potter on drums (drums). When Willie Nelson hosted a Fourth of July barbecue, the band Stokes Nielson and The Lost Trailers made their debut. The Lost Trailers self-published Story of the New Age Cowboy in that year. Trailer Trash and Welcome to the Woods were released on Universal/Republic in 2002 and 2004, respectively. After transferring to BNA Records, the band released a self-titled album in 2006, resulting in the singles Call Me Crazy and Why Me debuting on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. In August 2008, the fifth album Holler Back, was published. Its title single and the song How 'Bout You Don't both reached the Top 20 of the country charts. Singer-songwriter Jason Wyatt joined Stokes Nielson in 2011, and the Lost Trailers were reborn. With the help of the record company HRT Records & Productions, this resurrected group first released the single Underdog before releasing American Beauty. In April 2014, the band's lead singer Jason Wyatt announced that he was leaving to pursue a solo career. The Lost Trailers embarked on their summer tour in 2014 with Stokes Nielson, veteran member/guitarist Charles Longoria, bassist Jimmy Lykens, and Jeff Dane on vocals. Their most recent single, Smoke Signals, was released.
