Akiva Schaffer founded the American comedic troupe The Lonely Island. The comic music of Jorma Taccone and Andy Samberg is their most well-known work. The group is headquartered in New York City and is originally from Berkeley, California. The trio's collaborative effort, which included Taccone and Schaffer as writers and Samberg as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 2005 to 2011, led to the group's success. Taccone, Samberg, and Schaffer all left their positions at SNL; Taccone left at the end of the 2010–2011 season, and Samberg and Schaffer left the following year. After appearing on the program, they created the music-parody video Lazy Sunday, quickly gaining popularity online. Hot Rod, the group's debut feature film, premiered in August 2007. Following Lazy Sunday's favor, the trio created Dick in a Box, Jizz in My Pants Like a Boss, and I'm on a Boat. These songs were a major hit on SNL and online and served as the inspiration for the 2009 album Incredibad. The group's second album, Turtleneck & Chain, was published in 2011, and it included songs from SNL digital shorts, including I Just Had Sex with Akon, The Creep with Nicki Minaj, and Jack Sparrow with Michael Bolton. Over 200 million people have viewed the I Just Had Sex with Akon song video on YouTube. They released The Wack Album with Hugh Jackman on June 2013. Solange Levine, Adam Robyn Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, and others. Semicolon Diaper Money, YOLO Go Kindergarten, and more songs were on the CD.
