Teresa Vanhooser Biography

Former Deputy Director of NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center and expert Teresa Vanhooser. When he was appointed in 2012, Vanhooser headed one of NASA's most significant field operations and was in charge of a wide range of exercises to advance the nation's space program. 2015 saw her resignation. In the past, from 2011 to 2012, Vanhooser oversaw the Flight Programs and Partnerships Office at the Marshall Center. She was responsible for managing the middle's job portfolio in human investigation tasks and errands, aviation essentials and ventures, external government industry, and global academic affiliations. In addition, Vanhooser oversaw Ares Projects at the Marshall Center from 2010 to 2011. Her responsibilities included the overall assembly of the dispatch vehicle chassis, enhancement of the first stage obtained from the current space transport sponsor and engine components, and creating of a second higher stage powered by a J-2X main motor. Vanhooser served as Ares Projects' temporary agent head from 2007 to 2009 before taking over as the company's interim supervisor from 2009 to 2010.
