He was already a partner and founding team member of Detroit Venture Partners. In the past few years, Ted has co-owned stakes in 24 organizations, 13 of which have their headquarters in Detroit. Ted was a leading supporter and the CTO of ParentsClick before relocating to Detroit from San Francisco. In 2008, Lifetime Television acquired ParentsClick, the fourth-largest social network and the most extensive blog network for moms online. In 2004 Ted graduated from Cornell with a B.S. in Computer Engineering. Ted, his wonderful wife, and their kid reside in the Metro Detroit area.
