As the wealthy and extraordinary Luis Ramon Alcazar, Ted King joins the cast of General Hospital in July of 2002. Ted King returned to the General Hospital screen as Lorenzo Alcazar, the less-than-perfect Luis Alcazar's brother, in 2003. Lorenzo is a character who is considerably more lethal and menacing than his brother. Daytime viewers are familiar with King from his roles as Danny Roberts on Loving on ABC Daytime and its spinoff series The City. Other notable TV credits include a starring role in the well-known TV series Charmed and a starring role in the primetime television series Timecop, which is based on the classic movie of the same name. He has had guests who have worked on several highly regarded programs, including Law & Order: SVU and Frasier Sex and the City. His credits for supporting roles in films include The X-Files and Hoodlum and Son, a free supporting role. King was born in Hollywood, California, and raised in Bethesda, Maryland, and Los Angeles. His professional training was at the University of California, Santa Barbara, after which he considered enrolling in a film course at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. He has experience in film editing and has recently emerged as a significant force in New York theatre. The monarch is credited with playing a part in founding the Portal Theater Company. In this off-Broadway repertory company, he directed John Patrick Shanley's play Beggars in the House of Plenty.
