Diageo plc's Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer and Executive Committee member is Syl Saller. With over 400 brands in its portfolio, including Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Tanqueray, and Guinness, Diageo operates in 180 countries. Syl manages all global marketing, design, and innovation initiatives, as well as the Futures Group and Reserve, Diageo's upscale subsidiary.
Before being named CMO, Syl held the position of Global Innovation Director, where she was in charge of Diageo's innovation strategy, which included all new product development, launch initiatives, and R&D. From 2011 to 2014, Syl served as a non-executive director for the Domino's Pizza Group. She served on the Remuneration Committee and headed the Nominations Committee.
