Indian actor Suraj Sharma made his acting debut in the 2012 movie "Life of Pi," playing the lead character. The movie "Life of Pi," which was directed by Ang Lee, was based on the same-named book. Suraj Sharma was born in New Delhi, India, to an economist mother and a software engineer father. He was a well-liked pupil at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, where he was enrolled. He attended the auditions alongside his younger brother, Sriharsh Sharma, despite having no prior acting experience.
