Su Meck just graduated from Smith College with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Concentration in Book Studies. Su's writing has also appeared in The New York Times Magazine. She currently resides in Northampton, Massachusetts, with her better half Jim, two Lab rescue dogs named Fern and Farley, and two tuxedo cats named Apollo and Athena.
Su Meck was twenty-two years old, married, and the mother of two children in 1988 when a ceiling fan in her kitchen fell and struck her in the head, causing terrible brain damage that erased all of her memories of her life before that moment. Despite the fact that her body swiftly healed, her memories were lost forever.
