Coach's Executive Creative Director is Stuart Vevers. In September 2013, he was hired as Executive Creative Director to oversee all creative aspects of the Coach brand, including shop settings, brand iconography, and women's and men's item configurations. Vevers started his career at Calvin Klein in New York before moving on to successful positions at Bottega Veneta Givenchy and Louis Vuitton. Additionally, Luella Bartley and Giles Deacon joined forces with Vevers. Vevers returned to London in 2004 to take a position as Mulberry's Creative Director. Vevers played a key role in the early stages of the company's transformation into the design house responsible for many of the decade's most sought-after handbags. At the 2006 British Fashion Awards, Vevers received the Accessory Designer of the Year award in recognition of his efforts. Vevers was appointed Creative Director of Loewe in July 2007 when LVMH Mot Hennessy Louis Vuitton purchased the two-story, extraordinarily ancient Spanish leather company. Vevers significantly revamped the traditional frill brand, updating both its organizations for women's and men's clothing.
