And, having received the unfortunate high school accolade of being selected Least Likely to Succeed, Steve never gave himself much of a chance to emerge as anything extraordinary, let alone a world-class comic or Hall of Fame speaker. Years of pessimism had taught him to assume that aspirations were reserved for the wealthy. Steve then surprised everyone, including himself, by graduating with honors from university and post-graduate school.
