Shlomo Goldberg was born in Haifa, Israel, to a Romanian mother and a Hungarian father who had immigrated to Israel. He was a child actor who appeared in the 1968 film Tarzan and the Jungle Boy. He replicated himself in America in the mid-1980s after performing his obligatory military service for the state of Israel. On General Hospital, he became a daytime TV entertainer. Bond was bare chested for a pin-up divider poster in 1984. He married in 1982 and had a daughter. In 1989, he was cast as Mack Blake in the daytime soap Santa Barbara, where he stayed for one year. Later, he appeared in the films To Die For (1989) and Son of Darkness: To Die For 2 as an appealing yet malevolent vampire (1991). Bonds first appeared on the big screen in 1988, in the celebrated flamboyant role of Travis Abilene in Andy Sidaris' outstanding Picasso Trigger."
