He has authored scores of articles on federal/state tax and budget issues through his Cato Institute connection. Moore also served as a consultant to the National Economic Commission in 1987 and as the research director for President Reagan's Privatization Commission. Moore is the author of five books, including "The End of Prosperity: How Higher Taxes Will Devastate the Economy if We Allow It." "It's Getting Better All the Time: The 100 Greatest Trends of the Last Century" is another of his works, as is "Bullish on Bush: How the Ownership Society Will Make America Stronger." Stephen Moore appears often on talk radio and other television networks to discuss economic policy and its implications. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois and his master's degree in economics from George Mason University.
