Stephen Macadam Biography

Since April 2008, Stephen E. Macadam has served as EnPro Industries, Inc.'s Chief Executive Officer and President, as well as a director. Stephen was the Chief Executive Officer of BlueLinx Holdings Inc. before taking these positions with EnPro. Stephen was the President and CEO of Consolidated Container Company LLC before joining BlueLinx Holdings Inc. He formerly worked for Georgia-Pacific Corp., where he was Executive Vice President, Pulp Paperboard and Senior Vice President, Containerboard Packaging. From 1988 until 1998, Stephen held roles of increasing importance with McKinsey and Company, Inc., culminating in the capacity of principal in charge of the McKinsey Charlotte, North Carolina unit. Mr. Macadam graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Boston College with an MS in Finance, and Harvard University with an MBA as a Baker Scholar.
