Stedman Graham is the Chairman and CEO of S. Graham Associates (SGA), a corporate and educational management and marketing consulting firm. Merrill Lynch, Wells Fargo, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, CNN, GlaxoSmithKline, YMCA, Harvard and Wharton business schools, and the US Department of Education are among his clientele. As a businessman, educator, and speaker, he lectures, consults, and conducts training on the themes of optimizing leadership, achieving success, building a business, embracing diversity, obtaining optimal health, and personal and professional branding with enterprises, organizations, and NGOs. His corporate workshops are guided by his unique Nine-Step Success Process. Graham also teaches individuals and businesses how to use Success Circles, a work-life balancing tool he created to make information and experience relevant to personal, professional, and business success. Graham is an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he offers a leadership class based on his Nine-Step Process. He was a former professor at Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he taught a management strategy course called "The Dynamics of Leadership." He also serves as a distinguished visiting professor at a number of colleges and institutions around the country. Graham, a native of Whitesboro, New Jersey, has dedicated his life to youngsters and the community. Graham started AAD Education, Health, and Sports (previously Athletes Against Drugs) in 1985, a non-profit organization comprised of over 500 professional athletes and other civic leaders dedicated to promoting leadership in marginalized youngsters. Over 15,000 students have been assisted by AAD, and $1.5 million in scholarships have been provided. Graham is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and serves on various boards, including the national board of Junior Achievement (JA) and the 7-Eleven Education Is Freedom Foundation. He is also actively involved in South African leadership activities and programs, and he is the founder of Concerned Citizens of Whitesboro and Concerned Citizens of Lake Waccamaw, both in North Carolina. He graduated from Hardin-Simmons University with a bachelor's degree in social work. He holds a master's degree in education from Ball State University as well as an honorary doctorate in Humanities from Coker College, where he also serves as a distinguished visiting professor.
