Stasi Eldredge Biography

Stasi Eldredge enjoys writing and speaking to women about God's kindness. She spent her youth in Prairie Village, Kansas, and she is eternally thankful. When she was ten, her family relocated to Southern California during the height of the smog. She enjoyed theater and performing and had a crush on her now-husband John while they were in high school. Stasi earned her Bachelor of Science in Sociology from San Diego State University, which she chose since it was close to the ocean. Her junior year of college, she became a Christian and joined Campus Crusade for Christ. Stasi joined Youth for Christ after graduation, where she oversaw a ministry to pregnant teens and teen moms. Since then, she has been involved in a variety of ministries, including theatre ministry, crisis pregnancy center ministry, women's ministry, and children's ministry. In 1991, the Eldredge family relocated to Colorado. YAY! Stasi lives to see people experience the pleasure and freedom that comes from understanding the passionate, beautiful love of Jesus Christ.
