Stan's leadership abilities were obvious at a young age, as he served as president of his church's MYF, Methodist Youth Fellowship. Stan was the 1971-1972 President of DECA, Distributive Education Clubs of America, as a high school senior. After graduation, he took full leadership and ownership of one of his family's businesses, Reynolds Tire Town, which he doubled in size in only three years until a tragic fire changed the path of his life forever. It resulted in a spiritual watershed moment in his life. Stan sold his remaining stake in the tire company to a partner he met in year two. He went on to co-found Emergency Insulation, a commercial and residential insulation company. He bought out his partner a year later and successfully ran the firm for another five years before selling to a competitor. Stan got his very first job with Dale Carnegie Training in 1982. After two years, he left to establish Lawyers Trust�. Nonetheless, he remained a Coach for the Dale Carnegie Sales Course, management course, and personal development course for almost a decade after that. Mr. Reynolds lobbied the Florida Bar in 1984, which resulted in the Florida Supreme Court amending the Rules of Professional Conduct for Lawyers. Subsequently, Stan developed the first private legal referral business in Florida and numerous other states producing in excess of a million inquires and 360,000+ recommendations. During this period, he presented You and the Law, a weekly television show, and finally sold his stake in Lawyers Trust�. Nonetheless, Stan would return to the legal profession when the Non-Compete clause expired. He still has a small number of legal clients. Stan obtained job for the second time in 2000. He worked as a consultant with George S. May International Company, one of the oldest and most successful business consulting businesses in the United States. Stan came home to help with the family company when his father died unexpectedly in December 2001. Stan has expanded the size of his self-storage firm, Affordable Storage, which he still manages today, after buying out his siblings. Stan was recently elected to two nonconsecutive years as president of Plant City Toastmasters�, named to the Board of Plant City Entertainment, Inc., and serves as an Ambassador for the Plant City Strawberry Festival, to mention a few accomplishments. In 2013, 2014, and 2015, Stan will manage and lead the volunteer activities of over 10,000 volunteers for Metropolitan Ministries over an eight-week period as we service the needs of our community throughout the Christmas season. He served as Volunteer Captain for the Gasparilla Music Festival in 2014 and 2015, and he will do so again in 2016. Stan received a Lifetime Achievement Award, a Director Choice Award, and a Cast Choice Award in 2015. He has also received several awards, including Volunteer of the Year, Volunteer of the Month, and so on. Stan has been involved in church work for 35 years, has been married for 35 years, and is the proud grandfather of eight lovely grandkids. His interest is changing people's lives by teaching critical thinking skills that lead to self-sufficiency. He aims to be a good listener, which allows him to have the knowledge needed to make recommendations that give significant long-term value.
