Sonja Christopher was a fantastic option for the cast of CBS's television hit Survivor's first season. She'd overcome breast cancer, a brain tumor, divorce, and was a successful single mom. This actress, singer, and music therapist challenged herself when she entered the program to convey a good picture of aging with elegance and vigor, which she succeeded despite being the first voted off the island of Pulau Tiga.
