Dr. V.A. Shiva Ayyadurai, the creator of email and a polymath with four degrees from MIT, is a world-renowned systems scientist and a motivational speaker whose words motivate his audiences to explore their endless creative and innovative possibilities. At a period when Copyright was the sole option to protect software creations, the US government acknowledged Ayyadurai as the inventor of email by granted him the first Copyright for Email in 1982. His interest in human health began when he was a boy and witnessed his grandmother, a local farmer and healer, perform Siddha, India's oldest school of traditional medicine. This prompted his subsequent study and research in systems biology at MIT leading to his invention of Systems Health a key breakthrough that provides an integrated framework integrating eastern and western medicine. His most recent innovation, CytoSolve, is the result of his PhD study at MIT and provides a novel platform for modeling complicated biological events to aid in the creation of multi-combination therapies without the use of animals.
