Sean McDowell Biography

At Capistrano Valley Christian Schools, Sean McDowell is the head of the Bible Department and teaches courses on Old Testament and apologetics theology. He received a dual Master's diploma in Theology and Philosophy upon his summa cum laude graduation from Talbot Theological Seminary. In 2008, Sean was named Educator of the Year for San Juan Capistrano, and the Association of Christian Schools International recognized his preparation in rational theology as Outstanding. Sean is a well-known speaker at conferences, schools, camps, and gatherings all across the nation. He has acted as a spokesperson for organizations, including Focus for the Family Campus Crusade for Christ Youth Specialties Wisdom Works and the Association of Christian Schools International. He serves as the organization's national spokesperson and meeting speaker for Wheatstone Academy (www.wheatstoneacademy.com), which is devoted to educating children from a biblical perspective.
