As a Rotarian, Eureka Fellow, Eureka San Diego Leadership Council member, a trustee on the national board of Eureka Communities, STRIVE National's National Steering Committee, and board member of the San Diego Community Housing Corporation, Scott is an engaged member of the community. Most recently, San Diego Magazine named Scott one of the Top 50 Persons to Watch in 2003.
