Scott Rigsby is a champion of the Ironman marathon, a world record holder in long-distance races, a sought-after lecturer, and a highly regarded author. Moreover, he has two underneath-the-knee amputations. When Scott Rigsby decided in 2006 to alter the world by removing barriers for really tested competitors, he understood the adage "Doing the Unthinkable." Scott Rigsby had no idea that his moving journey would eventually affect the ages of physically healthy people. On his way to setting world records for a two-fold beneath-the-knee amputee in the ING Georgia Full Marathon Half Ironman and International Distance Triathlon, he completed 13 marathons and 5 street events in a single year, earning him a position on the 2006 USA Triathlon Team.
