Scott Reitz Biography

Scott Reitz has worked for the Los Angeles Police Department for several years. Scott joined the Los Angeles Police Department after earning his bachelor's degree from the University of New Mexico. He worked as a heroin dealer and a Special Issues Unit member in the Wilshire and Van Nuys divisions throughout his first few years. A few years later, he was admitted to the elite Metropolitan Division, where he remained for the duration of his career. He advanced into a "D" detachment soon after being accepted into Metro (SWAT). He remained there for a while before being upgraded as the primary instructor of firearms and tactics for the whole Metro division, and all LAPD advanced in-administration firearms and tactics training. He was also in charge of modern planning for specific units, such as the 19 topographical divisions, the S.I.S. Internal Affairs follow groups, the LAFD fire-related crime antagonistic to terror-based oppressor division, and others. In addition, Scott was one of the instructors for the US Marine Corps SOTG program in Camp Pendleton, California, and an assistant teacher for the U.S. Department of Energy's SRT III program. He has planned and collaborated with Air Task Force and Delta Navy Special Warfare Team 6 resources, which support special operations. He is also one of a select few professors who is a certified expert in destructive power preparation, wellness, and police tactics by the Federal and Superior Courts. He has supported and offered advice in high-profile cases involving the police, the FBI, the US Mystery Service, and the B.A.T.F.
