Scott Kupor Biography

Scott Kupor is the managing partner of Andreessen Horowitz, the only venture capital firm that invested in Facebook, Twitter, Zynga, and Groupon and raised $2.7 billion to fund new businesses in the preceding three years. Kupor formerly served as Hewlett-Packard's vice president and director of software-as-a-service. As a component of the Opsware acquisition, where he served as senior VP of Client Solutions, Kupor joined HP in 2007. In this position, he was responsible for all aspects of customer association, including professional administrations, specialist pre-deals, and client service, on a global scale. He bestowed a combination of skills in essential organizations and money-related administration on Opsware. Scott joined Opsware immediately after the company's founding and held various top administrative positions, including vice president of financial planning and vice president of corporate strategy. In these roles, he oversaw the company's private financing activities and its first stock sale in 2001. He also started the company's Asia Pacific operations through significant partnerships with NEC NTT and Samsung, and he oversaw the company's acquisitions of Tangram Rendition Creek way and incorporation. Kupor earned a four-year certification in open method from Stanford University and graduated Phi Beta Kappa with distinction and distinctiveness. Also, he is a member of the California Bar Association and has a Stanford University law degree with distinction.
