Scott Grimes Biography

Grimes started acting at a young age. He co-starred with Mickey Rooney in the made-for-TV special. It Came Upon the Midnight Clear in 1984 when he was 13 years old. He appeared in the Twilight Zone episode Little Boy Lost from 1985. Grimes began singing in his early years and performed Somewhere Over The Rainbow on a Bob Hope TV special in March 1986. The King and Queen of Sweden participated in the remarkable recording. He continued as a guest vocalist on Richard Carpenter's 1987 Time album, where Carpenter thanked the 15-year-old Grimes for his energetic performance and stated in the liner notes, "I accept adolescent Scott to have a major future in music." Scott Grimes, Grimes' debut album, was released by A&M Records in 1989 and distributed by Carpenter. He released his second album, Livin' on the Run, in 2005 and his third, Drive, in 2010. In the animated movie Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night from 1987, Grimes voiced Pinocchio. He appeared in 1988 together with Dwayne Hickman. In the television movie Bring Me the Head of Dobie Gillis, Connie Stevens appeared with her daughter Tricia Leigh Fisher. Grimes Hickman Stevens and Fisher also appeared on the All-Star Super Password Special with Bert Convy. Also, he was a guest on the NBC sitcom. He is also remembered for his 1987 recurring role as Chad McCann, the love interest of Alyssa Milano's character, and for his regular appearances as Will McCorkle in the 1994–2000 series.
