Scarlet Fu is the co-host of What'd You Miss?, Bloomberg Television's premier markets show, which airs weekdays from 3:30-5 pm ET and is the anchor of Bloomberg Markets, which airs weekdays from 2-3:30 pm ET. Fu, who is based in New York, has moderated discussion panels and interviewed corporate and political figures for Bloomberg Television, including PepsiCo Inc. CEO Indra Nooyi and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. Fu reported on the collapse of Bear Stearns and Lehman Brothers, as well as the worldwide credit crisis that followed in 2008. Fu was a U.S. stocks editor for Bloomberg News before joining Bloomberg Television in 2007. She formerly supervised Bloomberg News' Asian stocks coverage and covered the 1997 transfer of Hong Kong to Chinese control. Fu began her journalism career in Hong Kong at CNBC Asia. Fu earned a Phi Beta Kappa bachelor's degree in history with a specialization in Asian American studies from Cornell University. She also attended Peking and National Taiwan Normal Universities to study Mandarin.
