Banker, investor, and philanthropist Sandy Weill. He was Citigroup Inc.'s CEO and chairman from October 1, 2003, to April 18, 2006, respectively. Carter Berlind Potoma & Weill was founded by Arthur Carter, Roger Berlind, Peter Potoma, and Weill in May 1960. The business changed its name to Cogan Berlind Weill & Levitt in 1968. From 1965 until 1984, during which time the company made over 15 acquisitions to grow to become the second-largest securities brokerage firm in the nation, Weill served as the company's chairman.
