She majored in Fundamentals of Film Criticism and Emily Dickinson at St. Anne's College Oxford in English Language and Literature from 2010 to 2013. She is now drafting the sequel to the Bone Season series. Samantha loves vintage music, gramophones, silent movies, fine coffee, and literature. She resides in west London with some of her four siblings, four parents, and a male tortoise named Lily-Beth. Her debut book, The Bone Season, has just been released.
