Before this, Gant had appeared in several popular TV shows such as Friends, Becker, and Melrose Place, and in independent films like The Contract, Fits and Starts, and Marie and Bruce. Gant's talents extend beyond acting, as he has also started his film and television production company, Myth Garden. Along with his partners Chad Allen and Christopher Racster, Gant has optioned several projects with varying degrees of gay-focused content.
