Robert Bullard is an American academic and activist widely regarded as the father of environmental justice. Bullard has spent his career fighting against environmental racism and inequality. He received his bachelor's degree from Alabama A&M University before earning a master's degree from Atlanta University and a Ph.D. in sociology from Iowa State University.
