A Yale University graduate, Rob Long is an Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated screenwriter and producer. He began his career writing for the TV show Cheers in 1990, eventually becoming an executive producer in 1992, when the show won two Emmys and two Golden Globes.
After Cheers ended in 1993, Long formed a TV production company with fellow Cheers collaborator Dan Staley. They created several shows, including "George & Leo," "Love & Money," and "Men, Women & Dogs." In addition to showing creation work, Long and Staley also served as creative consultants on numerous shows.
