Roeper co-hosted the broadcast movie review show, Ebert & Roeper, with Sun-Times film critic Roger Ebert for eight years. Roeper is now the co-host of the Roe and Roeper Program on WLS-AM, Chicago's most-listened-to talk show. On the Reelz Channel and on his website, richardroeper.com, Roeper reviews movies for a large audience. Roeper has authored eight books on a variety of topics, including urban legends, Hollywood failures, and the Chicago White Sox. Roeper is a native of the south suburbs and a graduate of Dolton's Thornridge High School and Normal's Illinois State University. He has resided in Chicago for the past 20 years.
