Peter Diamandis was born in The Bronx on May 20th in the year 1961 with an interest, in space and technology starting at a young age which led him to study Molecular Biology at MIT and eventually obtain an M.D from Harvard Medical School; yet his entrepreneurial drive steered him towards advancing technology and innovation rather than pursuing a medical career.  In 1994 Peter established the XPRIZE Foundation with a focus on inspiring innovations that advance humanitys well being.
